Klepsy.ai is an AI-powered time and task tracker. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Klepsy.ai requires an account. We collect your email address to create the account and to send one-time verification codes for sign-in (no passwords). You may also choose to set a display name. We do not collect your location, phone number, or payment information.
Your tasks, time entries, project tags, dictionaries, and switch logs are stored on our servers so they can sync across your devices. Communication between your device and our server is encrypted using HTTPS. Your data is not sold, shared, or used for advertising.
When you use push-to-talk on the macOS app, the captured audio is uploaded to our server and forwarded to Groq's Whisper transcription service to produce a text transcript. The text transcript (not the audio) is then used to determine your intent — either by an on-device parser or by a server-side language model on Groq's Llama for harder cases. Audio is not retained after transcription; transcripts are stored as part of your time-tracking history so the AI summary and Ask features have context.
The daily summary, range narrative, and Ask features send aggregated text rollups of your activity (project names, task titles, time totals) to Groq's Llama model through our backend. We never send raw transcripts or unrelated data.
The website uses Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics (page views, browser type, general region). No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your tasks, time entries, tags, dictionaries, sessions, and profile are removed from our database. If you would prefer to email us, write to the address below and we will delete your account within 30 days.
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
